In aid of the Lord's Taverners, we're giving two club cricket snorers the chance to play at the iconic Wormsley Cricket Ground on the 10th August 2026. Nominate the loudest teammate at your club and, if they're selected, you'll both be joining us for an unforgettable day.

Zeus Sleeps, The Final Word Podcast and the Wisden Cricket Podcast are bringing together some of cricket's biggest names for a one-off charity match at the spectacular Wormsley Cricket Ground on 10th August 2026.

The Final Word XI will take on the Wisden XI in a fun, friendly match, all in aid of the Lord's Taverners. Alongside familiar faces from the world of cricket, two places in the teams are reserved for genuine club cricketers.

The catch? You can't enter yourself.

Your teammates have to nominate you as the biggest snorer in your club. If you're selected, you'll pull on the shirt, take to the field at one of the world's most iconic cricket grounds, and your nominator will join you for the day as your guest.

Playing for more than just cricket

Every nomination, and every pound raised from this special day at Wormsley will support the Lord's Taverners, helping provide free, inclusive cricket programmes for young people living with disabilities or facing socio-economic disadvantage. Through the game, the charity empowers thousands of young people to build confidence, develop new skills and unlock opportunities that can last a lifetime.

Two snorers are selected to play, with their nominators joining them as a guest, for an unforgettable day on the 10th August 2026.

No. Somebody had to be willing to nominate you for being a snorer, thats the entry fee.

Then he says no, and you've had a difficult conversation! Jokes aside, please make sure you and your nominee are happy to be entered before they submit.

They need to be a snorer. The cricket skills are a bonus. We're playing a friendly on a beautiful ground for a very good cause, not a test trial.

Only your travel and accommodation (if needed). The rest is on us!

The nominee wins one of two places on our team. A game of cricket alongside many great cricketers and celebrities. Food, drink and a story to remember! Oh and the winner also gets a Zeus device.

The winners will be announced on Monday 3rd August 2026. You will be contacted by phone and email, you will have 48 hours to respond.
