Zeus is specifically designed for individuals who experience tongue-based or throat-based snoring. If your snoring is caused by the relaxation of your tongue or throat muscles during sleep, Zeus may be an effective solution for you. However, Zeus is not effective for snoring caused by blocked nasal passages, allergies, or congestion. Throat-based snoring can happen in any sleeping position and may cause loud snoring, frequent awakenings, or waking up with a dry mouth. Yes, the hydrogel pads are essential for the proper functioning of the Zeus device. They ensure a secure and comfortable fit while also conducting gentle electrical stimulation to your muscles. Each Zeus device comes with a 30-day supply of medical-grade hydrogel pads. We also offer a subscription service to receive fresh hydrogel pads every 30 or 90 days, so you can enjoy uninterrupted, snore-free sleep.

Zeus is designed to help with snoring caused by the tongue or throat. However, it’s not suitable for everyone. You should not use Zeus if any of the following apply to you: 

• You suffer from nasal snoring (Zeus is only effective for tongue/throat snoring). 
• You have long facial hair under the chin (short stubble is fine, but longer beards may prevent proper adhesion). 
• You have metal implants in the head or neck (this does not include dental fillings). 
• You have a pacemaker or suffer from heart arrhythmias.  

You have been diagnosed with any of the following: 

• Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT). 
• Cancer, particularly near where the device would be applied. 
• Epilepsy, seizures, alcoholism, or leprosy.  

You are recovering from surgery, especially near the chin area (do not use over scars for at least 10 months after surgery). 

You are using other medical devices such as: 

• TENS machines. 
• ECGs. 
• MRI scanners. 
• Other  electronic diagnostic tools. 
• You are  pregnant. 
• You are under 18 years old.
